After the City of Toronto designated the Broadview and Danforth intersection a Protected Major Transit Station Area (PMTSA), we undertook a redesign of our mixed-use project for Choice Properties and submitted it for a rezoning application. Because the existing grocery store is one of the only large grocery retailers in the area, it was critical to devise a phasing strategy that would allow it to remain open throughout the first phase of construction.
